1. Dark Souls 2 de ilk defa ikili kılıç sistemi kullanılmıştır ki souls oyunlarında devrimdir! (Ben pek bu devrime eşlik edemesem de öyle... Ben klasik kılıç kalkancıyım da biraz ;)
2. Bölüm tasarımları muhteşem ötesi arkadaşlar! Gerçekten de öyle! Bulmacalar ve bulmacaları çözmek için toplamanız gereken eşyalar vs. harika tasarlanmış. Hiç bir bölümden sıkılmıyorsunuz!
3. DLC'ler! Ivory King üçlemesinin her biri ayrı ayrı özenile bezenile tasarlanmış! Hayaletleri bul, blokları yerinden oynat, heykelleri savaşa yolla veee hiç bir şey göremediğin bir yerde hayatta kalmaya çalış! Bu arada Souls tarihinin istisnasız en gıcık bölüm tasarımı var bu DLC lerin içinde...
